I thought it was funny in another thread when Judge4re said, "I go to Tokyo for a bit of a vacation and this becomes Mulletchat?"

Just how cool is a Mullet? I never realized that the "Camaro Cut" was back in style. I had a guy at work and everyone was making fun of his Mullet hair style. He got all pissed off one day and yelled, "It's not a Mullet! It's just a little long in the back!" It was on after that. He ended up getting a "regular" haircut within a week.

I found a couple of Mullet links I thought I would share.

A site that gives some insight to the Mullet lifestyle:
"To say that the mullet is a hairstyle barely even scratches the surface of the issue. The mullet is a way of life, it is a state of mind, it is every person who wears it."
    and
"The other important advantage of the mullet is that it offers it's host the freedom of both worlds of work and leisure. The subject appears to be a normal human being from the front, unencumbered by long hair over the face, and also appears to be a "party animal" from behind, with the long flowing locks. Hence, the "business in the front, party in the back" mentality."

Ahh, the mullet, business in the front.....party in the back.

My favorite name for the Mullet is "Kentucky Waterfall".

Among trend-setters in the cutting edge hot spots (New York, LA, Paris, Berlin and South Jersey/Arkansas), the mullet is making a comeback. It's not just a hairstyle, but a way of life. It reflects a certain conservatism in looking forward, with a brazen, go **** yourself from behind attitude. This combination is a reflection of the social attitudes of those sporting the retro-do. It was observed that over a 1/3 of males attending the recent feature 'Dukes of Hazzard' were wearing a form of mullet. Reality TV shows in the offing include 'Trim my Mullet,' a sort of "Pimp my Ride" for the hirsute of head. Commentators say the resurgence of the mullet has nothing to do with an overall decline in intelligence or test scores in US public schools....

    Whart,
Well said! I am thinking about selling my Ferrari, quitting my job, buying an old Dodge Charger and grow out my Mullet and just cruise around town all day with a beer between my legs and fightin' off the ho's.

Yeah, you'll find me outside the neighborhood bar at 1 AM with the engine running, the windows rolled down, cigarette between the lips and my arm hanging out the door. I was thinking about getting a couple more mullet-heads to sit in the back smoking reefer to complete the package. What do you think?

Pete, I have to say, all good ideas, except you need to lose that Charger and get yourself the appropriate IROC camaro. Official muscle car of the mullet! FWIW the Firebird was a close second in voting but many of the Mulleteers were put off by the cost of gold jewelry.
