I was filling up with petrol the other day and looked around at my car as i paid at the kiosk. it looked fantastic. I dont care what anyone says, a Ferrari is a special event. People often talk on here about how 360+ are just mass produced car, but In the real world there are so few around. Here in Aberdeen where thestreets are metaphorically paved in gold (oil rush etc) there are more fancy cars than most. the heirarchy is:

    Audi TT
    Porsche Boxster
    Range Rover (New)
    911

Theres so many of them, that when an F car appears, it really is the only one that turns heads. Id be lying if i said it doesnt give me a buzz, but couple with that the shear joy it gives aurally, visually and sensually then nothing can touch it. I'm writing this more to myself than anyone else, there are no absolutes but there is an order in things and Ferrari is at the top. As the saying goes: one guy to another "your Ferraris great but i dont like the colour"......other guy replys "what colours yours!!!!!!!"

    I think it's all relative.

In the Ferrari world, yes, there are a lot of 360s. But as you say, in reality it's still reasonably rare to see one on the road unless you live/work in affluent areas of London.

It does get a bit funny when half the threads on this site are arguing the differences between two cars most people would give their right bollock for :).

Totally agree with you about F cars being top. That is the point I was trying to make in the thread where Eric has gone over to a Porker. A great car no doubt, but just does not the presence or soul of an F.

so true. The traffic jam on kings road is usually composed of some guy in a audi TT or a TVR (he he he.... little dig there) looking a little sorry for himself cause he being completely outclassed by a row of Ferraris, AMs, Lambos and Paginis in front of him.

However when I see anything rare and cool out in the country, I get a much bigger thrill, not sure why, but it not only to do with there being less of them, its also being able to see it in proper action and at full chat.

Having had the 360 for almost a week, I've noticed a huge difference in the response from Joe Public compared to my 348. Both Red and both loud, but the 360 has more presence and according to me mates wives (and mates!) - better looks, so you're right, it might be mass produced, but in the impact department, its knocked my 348 for 6!! (sorry Angelis, I did argue the case for the 348:))

    thats unnerving!

Still, if you feel the need to dress as an old man and sit young boys on your knee....

Mildly amusing I must admit :D
