My 400ai

At the Cincinnati Ault Park car tour. I have never had so many stop and say they like this model or ask about it. Really SUPRISING. Maybe it's because I washed it for the first time in ten years

I already mentioned in another post that i'd had exactly the same experience at a recent car show.

You never know, maybe the perception of the masses is changing and our impeccable taste will soon be vindicated!

 

Same here- Had a 45 minute "stop and Chat" while fueling up the 412... Had people sitting in the car and taking pictures.

I too just took the 400i to a small Italian festival to find that a lot of people really were drawn to it. Even though there was a 599GTO, 16M, 458 Spider, 360, 430 Spider, and others. Many of them had never seen one before and were surprised to know it was the rarest car there. I've owned twice now (with a 7 year gap) and I find appreciation for the model growing. I've loved mine since the day I saw one - and still do.

 

reliable is the word. 60 gal. of fuel in three days. the car did not miss a lick. AC worked when needed. i was at Ault Park Concourse. three 400's made it! that is more in one place since they left the assy. line

Ouch!!

Now that's a shame - any other damage, were you in or with the car at the time so you at least know who did it ?

 

i was having lunch. lady in a GMC Envoy could not see. witness got all the info and the driver left her phone #. so all OK. she made one big mistake. drove off, and second, when the officer called and identified himself she hung up. her Envoy really had a gouge all down one side
