    Well I am selling the Gallardo! Got confirmation from Lamborghini of Ohio on Wednesday that my Gallardo Spyder should be coming in Late February/Early March and need to start making room.

    Actually it is really more of a saddle color - just the camera makes it look a little orangish. In person it is saddle/tan color.

    I am really surprised I haven't heard from our resident Ghost yet on this yet ;)

    Brian - thanks for the compliment - that was a lot of good hard work and fun with the 250 - and it was a very clean, restored example for sure...

    I wish I still had it - 3 years later it is worth 60K more than what I sold it for :) :)

    You guys are hilarious. Busy day at work fellas - any of you ever heard of that?! - :D

    If there was ever a car I'd buy from a private owner sight unseen it would be Rich's. I have no doubt the car is immaculate and that it will be sold quickly.

    Unfortunately, silver - while a wonderful color - is not what I am looking for. Originally, it was either Blue Caelum or Arancio Borealis (Metallic Orange). I'm now also seriously thinking about the darker blue being offered on MY06's.

    I'm waiting till next year not so much for the bonus, but to see how much of an "upgrade" the MY06's are really going to be, with their better gearing, handling, etc., and resultantly, whether they are worth the price.

    I can tell ya, it's the hardest act of self-discipline I have EVER imposed on myself.

    Good luck with the sale Rich - can't wait to see the Spider.

    No it is more the photo.. If you look at the photo and look at the passenger side seat that is more representative of the Tan Color. It is very much like the BMW/Mercedes/Porsche - some companies call it natural tan.

    In person you really wouldn't call it orange at all. Though in these photos it does look a little tan/orange.

    Ahh Stop it Tom - I would be retired by now if I didn't have this addiction of switching cars every year :)

    I am getting Grigio Proteus exterior (the new Grey color) and interior - Black Seats with the red inserts and reverse stitching... So instead of the black and tan that I have now - black and red.... I thought it would be a little more daring :)

    Perhaps this would help you Richard. It is definitely not orange but a real good color, close to what God (or Nature if you want) intended leather skin to be.
    Richard, why sell it so early ? I am expecting my 430 right about the same time as your Spider. Problem is, after driving the 430, I am not so sure I want to trade the G for it !

    Well - since I am getting the Gallardo Spyder - which is too similar to my current car - I want to sell it and will not keep both.

    I am with you on the 430 - that would be a close call on which to keep. I like the looks of the Gallardo better than 430... But those 430 performance numbers are pretty nice :)

    Please elaborate of your experience with the 430 vs. Gallardo, if you don't wish to comment on it here then you can private message me. I'm on the list for the 430 and don't want to make a "mistake" buying one, as if you could call it a mistake. I'm sure that you do understand me.

    Having had the pleasure of riding with Richard in his Gallardo a couple of months ago, I can vouch for the condition of the car - it is in superb shape, very well taken care of and the color combo looks breathtaking! Good luck selling it Rich!
