    Greetings all,

My car is nearing completion and the parts boxes are getting empty.

I have come up with 2 small wiring harnesses that I have not yet been able to identify. One has a Magneti Marelli relay attached.

1 harness has a White/ blue tracer, the other has a White/ blue tracer and blue/black tracer along with the relay.

My thoughts are that it may be for the Dinoplex?

My schematic doesn’t show wire colors.

As usual, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only place on an "L" series car that I've seen relays like that is at the front on the fuse board (see attachment). They were either Lucas or FIAMM.

However, about the only part of the car I can remember seeing 4 wires with looped connectors was at the Dinoplex as you suspected (see other photo attached).

Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

    FREDNO,

Fuse block is intact. I don’t think its from there.

By chance, do you have a schematic with a color codes?

My dinoplex is half the size as the one shown. Is mine replacement?

I believe your original Dinoplex has been replaced. In your trunk, there should be a bracket on which the large Dinoplex and the backup coil are installed. The bracket, and the Dinoplex are unique to the earlier cars.
