I took this photo of a NART Spider in my friend's garage. Terrible light made it impossible to capture the beautiful deep burgandy color.

The yellow one should be #9851 repainted. The DK car has tan interior, #9851 has black.

Is there any reason to believe it is not 09635?

    Best wishes, Kare

No, and my chrystal ball is still out of tune.

The car in pictures just matches quite exactly the photos of 09635 in Brooks auction in Gstaad a few years back (19/12/98). According to my notes the car has since been restored from red/black into dark blue/tan which made me think that a beautifully restored NART conversion might indeed very well be this car...

    Best wishes, Kare

He is indeed - just had a nice chat this evening with David(?) at DK Engineering - he even mentioned the Brooks auction!

Car is yours for £0.5m - about $700k.

D'oh Sorry guys I was thinking of the Euro ex. rate.

Its actually $942,150 - had no idea the exchange rate was now £1 = $1.88 !

Is it therefore the same car that was at Fantasy Junction? Any one remeber the price?

The Fantasy Junction car was 07061. Built by DK-Engineering on a wrecked 275 GTB short nose with a completely new alloy body with correct features (long nose, 275 GTB/4 hood) as copied from a genuine NART spider (09437).

There are only minor detail differences like black (vs. tan) inside door handles, no switches on center console and no NART-badge in tail panel. It may also have carpeting in slightly lighter color. According to my notes, Fantasy Junction asked $395.000 for it in October 2004.

    Best wishes, Kare
