Not bad! If they keep the circular headlights it will improve the looks over the previous generation just that much more :)

Looks pretty nice. But I kinda wish they would do a complete overhaul.

LOL, almost like asking coca-cola to change its flavor. Instead they just make the bottle look spiffy!

    But I agree with you:)

Yeah I like it. It's has "quick glance" noticable changes yet looks good the curves all almost same.

yep It's got my thumbs up ok. And that's all Porsche needs right?

Massive improvement, gee only took 7 years to "change" to round head lights, now if they delete the Ford Taurus interior, they may get me back as a customer!

Speaking of massive... look at that J Lo-ish rear. Hide quarter fenders and bumper look bulky to me.

    Round headlights much more classic.
Agree with below - the worst part of the current 911 is the interior.

It is very 993ish.... but thats a GOOD thing. The 993 was among the best looking 911s ever.

I like this look. Not only the headlights look better, but it seems they may have restored some of the "coke bottle" flare look to the fenders that the 996 lacked.

I hope they re-do the interior look. I loved the traditional 5 guage layout that was last seen on the 993.

Heck.... just put the 993 back into production! Air-cooled rules!

3.8 liter with 350hp in the base model? WOW. Just imagine what the 2006 model GT3 is going to be like....

I like that car a lot. It is very 993ish, which I prefer. The curves are back and it's looks like a little more character. I wonder how long until the Turbo comes out.

Mickey, the first 356s looked like VW beetles to, because thats basically what they were! :)

I like it, it keeps some of the curveyness of the 996, but it also takes a look back at the 993, which cant be anything but good! I think that Porsche should make the car about 10% smaller, and delete those silly rear seats! Just make it a shelf, ala 550. I heard that the 998 ( in 2007) may get a version of the cayenne V8. Anyone can confirm this?

Also, isnt the Boxster going to belike a smaller CGT? Thats going to rule!

The thing looks great and it is nice that the car is a little less egg shaped with more body sculpturing. I have a Cayenne and I was hoping they were going to (as rumored) stuff the Cayenne V-8 in the back of the next generation 911. The V-8 is tiny and even the first generation engine is about 340hp with great torque. I am absolutely shocked at how fast the Cayenne is and with 2000 less pounds it would be a great ride.

I hope that porsche would AT LEAST retain the tradition of a vibration free flat engine, if they must dump a V8 in it, but there are several more flat six iterations first;) dont forget their direct injection that allegedly increases power by 10%. This car is going to be gorgeous, and rennteamers seem to indicate a different interior, a good thing! personally, Im a 993 fan, all the muscle in turbo form, the aircooled sound, and hand made:)

It's okay, the rear end looks a lot different from the side profile.

It is a good thing they covered up these guy's eyes, or I would know who they are. :)
