Hey, Lem! Haven't seen you in quite a while.

You know as much as I do. The sketch looks good.

Hi Willis sorry I don't post as much as I should or hang out as much as I should. I'm working on it though, I got a good lecture from DJ about that stuff. Too much work, the church, and the job, and little one. I hope to make the historics. That new "Dino" relacement looks logical and promising.

The sound of the new V6 would be wonderful, half of a 12. Modern day technology would make it attractive for modification to be used in small bore spec racing. That would be fun.

Very cool, I hope they do build a new Dino!

It makes a lot of sense, since their current entry level Ferrari (430) is almost $200K.

Actually, the prices are all purely speculation at this point, but I would suspect that the price quoted in the first article (first post) would be closer at $126,000...as that is considerably cheaper than a F430, yet not "too cheap" to lessen the brand. But we shall see.....

Anything is possible for sure! I think if they could get the price closer to the range your talking it would open up "new" Ferrari ownership to a lot more people. I'm sure at almost any price, they could probably sell as many as they care to make!

From a business standpoint they need to do something to get closer to Enzo's theory of making one car less than you can sell!

I do hope that Ferrari does indeed make this car. As for Enzo's theory; in today's economic environment where many cars are being offerd at the 100k+ price. The Ferrari that is the Dino will have the great Enzo Ferrari's theories all over it. It is after all, his brother and his son's name. It would as even Enzo would see, be a shame to cheat the public out of owning a piece of The Ferrari legacy.

The car's for real according to a conversation last night. Debut next year very likely. Price will probably be around $150K (I hope it will be less).

Early 360 spider with Tubi (guess price= $150K)? Late Model (1999) 355 Spider with Tubi (Guess Price = $100+K) or Dino New for $150K? I know where my bet is and it aint the Dino. Ferrari already has entry level cars - they just happen to be used.

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the last (God, I hope it's the last anyway) piece of the puzzle! If all goes as planned I should be bolting it all back together this weekend. Of course you know as well as I do how plans and Ferraris go!!!!
