Hi all, I am new to this site and have a couple questions, I just purchased a 2003 F360 from a dealer in Texas and have to update the lights to daytime running for Ontario.
Can this be done with a relay or do they need additional wiring? also not sure to leave the cluster in miles or have it replaced in km's.
    Its a 2003 360 coupe, 6spd, yellow.

    Thanks.

Does FoO even want to hear about cars not purchased through them? I thought they were pretty uptight about that kind of thing, especially when it came to servicing.

Anyways, I think there have been a few threads on this topic now that our exchange rate makes this an affordable option, so you may want to try using search ...

Firstly, where are you located? If it's in Ontario then FoO is your best bet. Otherwise look into FoQ, or FoV - maybe even ZR Auto (are these guys an authorized Ferrari Dealer?) in Calgary? The RIV says you must contact your local Authorized Ferrari dealer for all conversions (daytime running lights being one of them) necessary for it to be legal on CDN roads. And as posted before, importing Ferraris has been discussed before, maybe the search could get you an immediate answer. Good luck!

    Oh, and welcome to FChat!

edit: nevermind, James has your answer :)

The roster must be getting HUGE. But hey, the more the merrier (til we cause traffic jams anyways)! On the last run, seeing that nice line up of red and yellow cars at traffic lights was quite amusing. Keep up the good work Arshad!

Of course, FoO will be glad to service and repair any Fcar...it is their buisness, after all!

However, having them help you import a car from the US (either with the documentation, or finding/installing the appropriate Canadian specific parts..)...or even better, provide warranty work for an imported US F-car...and you might just find yourself getting the cold shoulder.
Can't really blame them, it's just not in their best buisness interests to do so...and that is, after all, the bottom line....

From the posts I've read...I'd give James at Autoforum a call. He seems more obliged to help out people importing F cars than I think FoO would.

Now how the hell can you be "the smartest asre" (as per your avatar) with a post like this ? ;)

First of all ZR Auto appears to be an awesome dealer BUT they are NOT an authorized ferrari dealership.

I don't have much import experience (only export) and I dont think you only need to visit a ferrari dealer as RIV states.

Yeah I didn't think ZR was authorized as they're not listed on the Ferrari website. Additionally, I was just reiterating what the RIV papers said, "Please contact an authorized Ferrari dealership to determine exact nature & costs of modifications. ALL modifications MUST be performed by an authorized Ferrari dealership."

As for the avatar... well, Rick can explain that.

I did talk to a service rep at Ferrari Of Ont and he was helpful, told me what it
needed and offered to service it when due. It just had the belts replaced at 2400 miles and all required fluids changed. A simple relay is great as long as they work when inspected by Canadian Tire. June 10 I will be at a expo but I would like to attend the get togethers when available in Ont. I do have a question about Tubi, The US dealer said that the car sounds amazing without it and I don't doubt it but and I never herd the sound of tubi and think this will be my 1st mod. Any supplier you can recommend?

    Thx guys.
