    Incredible career and work! Spent the majority of my aviation career flying the KC-135, what a great airplane.

    Thank you. I would hate to tally the hours of overtime that we spent on that airplane. I realized after looking at that photo working in front of the number 4 engine of the 707 that it was taken 65 years ago. Work on the KC-135 wing drawing was done in 1954-1955, some 67 years ago. All by hand and eye, measuring the production drawings of every detail part and translating it into a complete one tenth size three dimensional assembly that illustrated how the wing was put together before it hit the factory floor. Every office that I visited had a full sized copy mounted on the wall . You're correct, it is a great airplane.
