i am asking if anybody know's a friand in a new's channal that can help out with a story.some body stole the credit card and spent all of the money in the acount. cubscout pack 191 need's help. thanks jano

 

I know Mike Rogers with KRLD. I will ask him if he can do a story. I assume contacting you by your cell would be OK.

I have a contact through Channel 5. Lindsay Wilcox (anchor/reporter) is the daughter of one of my close lawyer friends.

 

I put a call into Chris Fox, former reporter with KXAS 5 but still freelances. Waiting for him to call me back.

 

Well, I don't have any. Media ties, but would like to see how these jerks get caught

 

If the channel 5 reporters dont jump on it, don't be put off or feel they dont care about what happened. My sister used to be a producer there before moving before moving to another station in another town. The producers and reporters make decisions on what's newsworthy based on whether or not they happen to have enough local stories that day. If it's a crazy weather day, thats going to capitalize their local stuff.

Nothing is lower than stealing from cub scouts. Those who want to can send donations or offers of help to the Circle 10 council office. (Down the road from Norwoods.. or at least it used to be.) The council can make sure it gets to the right people in pack 191.... www.circle10.org

 

thanks every one for the help, channel 4 called yesterday and talked to the cub master of the pack.they are going to enter veiw he next week.as a den leared my self i thank you for the help.i will keep every one posted.

 

update,i just got a call from one of the pack leader that channal 4 is enter veiwing at the church where we gather.it is going to be at night time news, i think 9 or 10.

I hope they catch the people that did this, but at least there are decent people out there to make up for the dishonest few (hopefully there are just a few).

 

Circle Ten got new digs not long ago,..big digs.

 

i am suprized why they did not show the photo of the couple.

 

Channel 4 just did a follow up segment for pack 191, they did show security video of the thieves at a store but it's kind of hard to make out.
