Has anybody seen the item that I just saw on the noon news where a pilot after take off decided that the airplane wasn't flying fast enough and at approx. 70 feet altitude chopped power and dropped it in? I can't quite get my head around this one. Another A320, I believe. The flying game has been really busy during the past month.

There appears to be an interesting connection in 4 of the 5 resent commercial accidents (in the US) that resulted from pilot error.

Disengagement of the pilot from the airplane due to computers controlling too many critical functions?

I like the first picture in the link showing the passengers disregarding the admonition to leave all personal items behind during an emergency evacuation. Wonder how many were blocking the isles trying to retrieve stuff from the overhead bins.

That was my thought when I saw that pic....what a joke if only it were funny. I'm surprised no one is trying to get the hold open......

Having evac'd a burning aircraft and seen the carnage left behind by blocked aisles they should have been pulled up for that......
