Need to find out what department he'll be assigned to.....he's a huge F1 fan but he'll probably be designing ashtrays at first....Emiliano Dini (no relationship to the Italian politician Lamberto Dini) is his name....his parents are coming to NY in October/November so I'll get the full story/details then.......

When I was in Italy last spring he told me some of his professors worked/consulted for Ferrari in the past so they had contacts and they helped get him in. He's an excellent student so that helped; they got him in the door but its up to him to stay there. Once he's settled in I'll get his email address....

Interesting to note how sports motorcycles keep getting lighter but sportscars just keep getting heavier....Lotus has the right idea.

Red Ferrari Puma shoes are just as bad and unhealthy as smoking, but people still wear them in a Ferrari if they so please....:D:D

There are some places in this world where the 'girlie P.C.'s' have not allowed common sense to be taken over.

Great! Now, by Monday we need answers to these questions. If he could consult with Luca on ashtray design and kind of work in the following I'm sure we'd all appreciate it:

    1. Will Ferrari be making a 'California' model, and how will it be positioned vis-a-vis the F430?
    2. Is the SUV proposed a serious thought or a bunch of Photoshop b.s.?
    3. How often do you need to change the timing belts in Ferraris that use them?
    4. What's the average markup on Ferrari spares -- i.e., the cost on a 348 targa latch versus the price?
    5. How much do they plan to expand production to meet demand?

    :)

Jon-I found it somewhat ironic that his first project revolves around fuel consumption-is Ferrari going Green?

More details to follow next week....
