    Brotherhood,

Was out for a drive the other day and took this picture. I was on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach heading north. The building on the right is the Montage Resort.

Also, if you look close, you can see Catalina out in the Pacific Ocean.

I'll be sure to rub it in when June gloom comes around and you need infrared goggles to see through the smog :D

Suck-it...we get what we pay for (taxes, taxes and more taxes)! :D

BTW, June gloom has nothing to do with the smog...it's just the dang 'marine layer' that sits on top of the first few miles of coastal land until about lunch time. At which time it promptly dissipates and allows us to finish the back 9 holes in splendid 72F and sunshine.

Seriously, man.... The Midwest and East Coast are still locked in the jaws of the worst f-ing winter we have had in decades !!

So, you better watch out ---- this bloody cold (-7 F here this morning !!!) and ludicrous amount of snowfall is starting to really eat away at our normally good-natured sense of humour !!! ----- LOL :)

Ah Yes, The Montage Hotel! What a wonderful place to visit. OC, Laguna Beach, must be an awesome place to take a drive in the f-car.

Our version of the Montage up in Northern Ca would have to be the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. Both are 5 star resorts with some of the most impressive beach views you'll ever see. If you go to both of these resorts you will really see the difference between Northern and So Cal beaches. Both would be prime stops after a ggod drive in the F-car.

I spent the last 3 winters in Toronto (2 of them record snowfall years and with a broken snow thrower)...so I know all about snow-rage.

Every time it rains hard here this winter (which has been a LOT)...I just think, oh man - those guys out East are f-ed again. Sorry bros.

Hang in there...spring is almost here. Hummingbirds returned to our backyard today...

    I know, it's fog/clouds.

    But sometimes, it's yellow.

I could make comments about mudslides and such but those would be below the belt, wouldn't they!
