Ive often wondered where the water from the headlight pods goes when driving in the rain... esp at night when the pod opens.. At the bottom of the headlight pod I see a two drainholes, and can only surmise that it must drip down into the floor of the nose cone. Ive often wondered where this water goes after that..The nosecone is airtight as the front grill is sealed However looking around inside the nosecone I see that the air horns/ metal brackets are pretty pristine.. so the moisture can't be that bad.. Why am I even bothering.. ? Its because im looking for a place to mount a DSP Amplifier as I don't realy want to mount it in the trunk. I know you can get marine grade amplifiers, but they are much larger and more heavy and difficult to mount.. Ive been told as long as there is no major water spray that happens in this location I should be OK.. My plan is to mount it as far away as possible from the source of the water.. like high up.. just behind the air horns.. or zip tied to the Brake air duct.. Has anyone ever mounted an amplifier in this location, or does anyone see an issue with this idea.. View attachment 3576027 View attachment 3576028 View attachment 3576029
