Do you have a second set of wheels? Winter time driving going ok? We need a pic or two! I wait until it’s above 40 before going out. And I’ve debated a second set for winter but not really needed here.

Yes, I have a second set of wheels with the Pirelli Sotto Zero 3 rubber

My local servicing dealer stores them for me so that makes my life easier

It costs about $180 per seasonal change

Drove a 2019 Valencia Red NSX tonight. Pulls real hard, even with cold temps. Full carbon fiber with a 212k msrp.

I love that red. Stunning, probably my favorite color out there on any car. Sitting here looking at my black one and it's pretty nice too. Classic color.
I haven't kept up on prices, discounts, etc. Would think they'd being willing to negotiate pretty aggressively.

Not really. Tried to lease a blue with Karl at 175k but the payment is way off at 1,721 for 36 months. MF was .00235 (wtf?), discount was 38k but residual was low at 86k. Pretty disappointed because that included a cap reduction of 15k too. They move a lot of cars too.

Finished chores and headed out. Listened to live at The Met opera. Mozart’s Magic Flute. Special kids day so abbreviated, in English, and lots of speaking stuff for kids. Meh overall. But a beautiful drive. Planned to stop somewhere for a few pics but that didn’t happen, kept moving. Few garage pics instead.

A dumb question for NSX owners, and I’m sure it’s been asked before, what’s cargo space like? Can you fit a couple of overnight bags in the car or trunk? Golf clubs as in the original NSX? Seems like these could be a great “do everything” car.

I believe the bags are no issue though I never have taken my car for a trip
The golf club thing can be done but depends on the bag/club combo
There is a hump near the middle of the trunk
It also gets very warm back there so carrying cheese for a pick nick is not a winning play

Plenty of space for a couple duffel bags plus other stuff. Good for a week or more - depends on how you travel or what you need.

See my NSX Road Trip treads in The General Automotive section. It’s amazing for road trips.

Not quite NSX content, but Automobile Magazine interviewed me to get some insights on the S2000 (and S2000 Club Racer) market, it's in the February 2020 issue and also available online at the link below. Wanted to share since those who appreciate the NSX may also appreciate the S2000.

Interestingly, the Feb. 2020 issue will be the very last print issue of Automobile Magazine, which has been around since 1986. A sad day indeed!

You still have leaves around in January.

Have you tried BLT Steak in DC? Love that place, the American Waygu is mighty fine.

I had mine out last week. A guy in a Stelvio was all jaw dropped when he saw it.

I think Thursday will be the day for the car this week.

This winter in Chicago has been pretty easy (knocking on my wooden head).

Just pine trees / other evergreens. Deciduous trees are bare waiting for spring.

Today was beautiful but no drive. Working. Same tomorrow, so hoping to get out Friday before a nasty weekend. Maybe some snow Saturday. It’s been cold here at times and little white stuff. It’s making me think about a winter tire set.

^Same here. Today is a lot nicer than tomorrow promises to be, so I had to rearrange my work schedule to get some Cali time in.
Spring can't get here fast enough.

It’s really hard to get a good picture. The black doesn’t give up its many looks easily. In person it’s fantastic.
Hope you got some good seat time in.

One thing for anyone interested in a 17/18 model. Change your tires. The stock goodyears are dangerous in the cold. I’ve had the back go on me in a scary way twice this winter!
