ya know what, maybe i deserve a good flaming but i am sick and tired of reading the " i cant look at this at work " crap. unless you are the boss, GET TO WORK!!!! the rest of us work for a living and cant sit on our butts all day in the airconditioning and cry about not being able to see Fchat. i can only get online from home, on my own pc. internet access is DENIED in the aircraft hangar. we have an "intra net" for FAA records and company " email". this venting statement IS NOT DIRECTED PERSONALLY to those folks in this thread. this venting rant is a general plea for my sanity. i make good money, have a 2 degrees and i dont get to sit at work WHEN I AM SUPPOSED TO BE "WORKING" and surf the net all day. i totaly respect family values and Rob rules on nudity ect. this is a ferrari site. but you crybabies out there should do something productive. YOU BETTER HOPE I AM NEVER YOU BOSS! i am so going to die for this, but man it felt good to get that off my chest!
well, I sometimes take a phone call or two, also!!! and today I'm putting up new shelves in my office for all my racing trophies... go to a few meetings, lunchtime, then a nap... that's a day at work. It's called "Management", or I used to work for a huge firm that called it "Non Productive Labor" (NPL). hang in there reaper! at least you're not taking death threats from a 12 year old!!!!!
Agreed. People whine about NWS when they should be WORKING and not playing while AT work. Imagine if you were the boss and your workers were surfing Fchat on YOUR dime. Food for thought. Of course the easy solution... own your company BE the boss PS: My boss lets me work nekked, look at whatever pics i want... and even allows the "office gal" to "clean" under the desk while i am still working It's a hard job but...
one of the sites linked to here hacked my operating software, and I had to reload my system! What a pita. That cured me! It's safer to look at that stuff, in person! LOL!
Not everybody gets to stay on F-chat all during the work day. Sometimes I have to slide over to the other computers and type in some commercial data timings. And sometimes I have to go upstairs and freshen the ice in my styrofoam cup because I hate luke warm Dr. Pepper. And if it gets REALLY boring, I can always punch up one of our survellience cameras at one of our tower sites 100 miles away and watch the buzzards sunning themselves at the top of our microwave tower. Boy am I tired. I think I'll go get some chips to go with the Dr.Pepper and take a rest for a while.
