I have the 3 piece wheels on my 2004 spider. I like them just fine, but every time I see a 360 with the regular starfish wheels, I tend to think the car looks so much better with those.

would I be stupid to get another set of wheels so I could have both???

I don't see why that would be a problem get what you want and store yours away.

I had the starfish and wanted the modular but got the challenge. It's human nature to want what you don't have. Nothing wrong with 2 sets of wheels.

I wanted modular wheels when I was looking for my car. I found a car with starfish wheels and I ended up liking them very much because they look sleek and are so easy to clean.

The good news is that the Starfish wheels are the more affordable ones, so you can even make money if you sell your Modulars.

Don't forget starfishies are much lighter in addition to looking better and being much easier to clear. Rotational mass is the most critical for performance.

I bought my car from Artsd, and he actually provided TWO sets of wheels, the original star wheels and these, which were put on my another f-chat member, Skidkid.

It was a tough choice, but I went with these that Skid put on.

Agreed! Car looks great Husker. This pic doesn't show it, put removing the old cracking/discolored protective film did wonders to improve the car. Great job!

I like the modulars, but I really like the starfish...my car actually came with Challenge wheels, but one of the first things I did was get rid of those, put on starfish, and pocket a few grand. Not a fan of Challenge wheels....at all.

I have the original factory optioned Modular Wheels. I prefer the look of them over the Starfish, but they are definitely a pain to clean. Not really a fan of wheels outside of the standard factory options...and that goes for really any mods, just have never been a mod fan. But I appreciate everyone having different tastes.

First time that I have ever read that someone did not like the Challenge wheels vs Starfish. Because of the appearance or the fragile nature of the Challenge wheels? I have had two of mine crack so I understand that part.
