    I just replaced the plastic fuel line to the cold start valve on my 1980 308 GTSi. As you may know the OEM is a 6mm O.D. with a 2mm I.D. It takes a special tool to accomplish. Is this really necessary. None of the other lines have this spec. This line carries 30 to 40 p.s.i. Doesn't seem this would be necessary. I have some 6mm O.D. with 4mm I.D. and attempted to put that on and it was equally difficult and tight as a frog's ass...and that's water tight! Any thoughts? Anyone use the larger I.D. tubing in this application?

    Where are you getting this pressure value? K-Jet is ~5.5 bar = 75~80 psi.

    Isn't the 6mm OD x 3.15mm ID Cohline tubing available for Global Metrics anymore?

    Hi, Steve. The 30 - 40 p.s.i. and 2mm came from another thread. If incorrect, thanks for the correction. Also, if indeed the OEM I.D. is 3.5mm for this particular application, that makes much more sense. 2mm is what I squeezed on to that barb fitting... :(

    Sounds like you've got it sorted, and I recall Verell reporting difficulties/substitution for the various cohline diameter sizes. If you've searched on "cohline", you'll have gotten everything here on the subject.
