Anyone have experience of using paintshield protection?
Is it worth the cost or better to just keep having the stone chips painted?

There are many threads on this in other models forums. Most who have had the films applied are very happy they did it. I am one of those. My attitude is "Don't leave home without it" (a film). Our Fcars have them on full front. Our SUV just had its second film applied after 34,000 miles of high speed cross country driving. Upon removing the old film, the front was found to be basically like new.

The cost of a full front on your FF by a very good shop in the US whould be about $1500, depending on local competition. That's less than a respray for a decent area.

My mileage varies a bit, but each to their own.

I am one that fills stone chips with Dr. Color Chip. With over 50,000 total F car miles in the last 3 years I think it looks better than a plastic sheet on the front of the car.
