My parking lights in my 550 do not turn off. Any ideas
Parking lights?? I would suggest that there might be a short in the Main switch. If it is hazzard lights flashing, I would suggest that the button is not bad, but rather the inertia switch(fuel pump cut off) is bad and turning the lights on.
I just got hit with this problem. I had the four way flashers go off when the botton had not been depressed. They went off with the use of the switch controlling them. The lights were not used during the drive. At the end of the drive the parking lights were on and do not respond to the switch. I'm going to the shop tomorrow anyway, just taking a different car now. I'll let you know but I believe redhead is right. We were recently messing with the gas tank seals on this car.
Hit the P button on the center console by the mirror controls. usually people don't even know that they hit it by accident.
