Nice ... When he picks up his car ?

I like details with his initials . But , to be honest I am a little bit disappointment of interior - I thought that more mods will be made !

 

This is how the 612 and 599 should have looked.

 

While interesting, I don't see any enhancement of the 612 by these changes. If anything, it detracts from the 612's mission of being understated yet chic. The 612 has an integrity, a simplicity that should not be distorted in this way.

As I've said many times before, recent Ferraris are not nearly as photogenic as their predecessors- 575, 456, 355 etc. But in the flesh they are far more powerful and dynamic.

The 599 is the latest and in some ways greatest example of this because in photos, especially early computer shots, it looked bananas. LOL

But as the live photos have accumulated its dynamism and sharpness have become very clear. It's not pretty like the Maranello line. It's sharper, harder, yet still fluid in the way Ferraris have been for several decades. With proper five-spoke rims it's aggressive beauty will become clearer in photos.

Who is Peter? He's a stud for making the car!

If the stock 612 exterior has "integrity," it is because it honestly sucks and doesn't try to hide it.

 

Why no cavallino on the rear of the 612?

There is one on the grill, but not one that appears on the rear deck as on the factory car. In this case it is crossed flags.

 

Peter Kalikow, a real estate tycoon and owner of a lot of phenom cars. I've seen his 250 California at the 2005 Pebble Beach ... looks awesome

Is the air intake in the hood really functional?

 

The 612 posted looks like a 250 front end. I like it.

It is the best looking 612 I've seen but I still think the 612 is an ugly car.

 

Have a look in the vintage section for "Peter Kalikow's 1449 SA wins Best of Show at Villa d'Este 2006" and you'll find more pix of the 612.

Can you tell us anything about the roof on Peter K's 612 Special?

Uses same revochromic glass roof and system where the shades can be adjusted individually, similar to the one in the 575 Superamerica.
