    Hey all,

    Was told by my dealer today that in order to have the radio in the car I need one of these shark fin antennae's. Has anyone else got a better pic of one on a pista...?

    I think that antenna is for NAV/GPS, but not 100% sure. Maybe if you order without nav they won’t put it on. I would prefer it without, especially since most use their phones for nav.

    Sounds weird. My Aussie 488 GTB doesn't have it and yes I do have radio and navigation. I guess each countries cars are speced differently.

    I couldn’t live with that antenna. I’d scuttle satellite radio and nav to negate such a grotesque looking appendage.

    Same with mine....fully equipped and no shark fin.

    Shark fins and roof antennas finished years ago. Not sure what's going on with that? Maybe some old groover stuck it on thinking it looks cool or something?

    +1. i got my f458 without nav/satelitte just so it wouldn't have the little bump in the back. i couldn't imagine a shark fin. what a miss

    This one on the Pista seems huge compared to the antenna on the US 488 GTB.
    Not sure what it is for, in Europe (unlike the US apparently) the GTBs come with no antenna at all in spite of having radio and GPS; I do not know the situation for European Pista though.
    It seems on the regular US 488 the antenna is for satellite radio that uses a different frequency range in North America compared to the rest of the world (that's what I'm told by wikipedia anyway ;)
