    Hello guys,

We are thinking of selling some if our classic racing porsche cars.

Its a big collection of 7 cars. High value models. Type 917, 908, ...

But I don't really know who I could contact to buy them.

As of course I don't want the cars to get on the internet...

    What should I do?

    Thanks

I would think the auction houses would trip over themselves (and each other) to get the opportunity to sell those for you.

Problem with auction houses is that a lot of buyers don't bid on cars when the whole world is looking.
I've so many cars sell at prices I knew I could sell for much more.

It works well in the Usa, but in Europe we don't work a lot with auctions.

I do think about it to bring one at pebble beach but for sure not the complet collection. But thanks for the idea.

Sotheby's is having a high end porsche only auction at PCNA headquarters in Atlanta in October to tie into the 70 yr anniversary of Porsche. They probably would be interested in these.

I would never let a 917 go if I had one...wow that is incredible.

if you are serious - I have a guy who deals in this area, he will be well known to all the big P car collectors. PM me & I'll send you his contact. However as the owner of a 917 - I'm surprised you don't have a dealer / broker you have used in the past?
