Hi to everyone, new member here.
I'm in Toronto and interested in a car in Montreal. Can anyone recommend someone to do a ppi?
The exterior's good. the interior's rough. It's that engine I need a expert opinion on.
All help and advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Bill

Take it to a shop that regularly work on f-cars. They know specifically what to look for. Make sure the current owner isn't involved with that shop.

I'd find the names of some of the techs at John Scotty.

What model are you looking at?

    Good luck.

    Thanks guys.
    It's a 308gt4. I'll try both those places.
If anyone on this site has the time and the expertise , I would like to talk to them.Of course I don't expect anyone to work for free!

I doubt anyone on FChat will charge you for verbal assistance/advice ;), in fact I'm so certain that I am willing to wager my 348 on it :)

That's what makes this place so great. It's a fountain of info.

Welcome Bill. I would also post this in the Quebec thread to see if anyone bites. Perhaps Bernie can help? He knows everything :) Luigi's shop?

    Cheers

    LOL!!!!

I haven't been by his shop in almost 4 years. I got fed up of his abuse. Plus, according to Luigi, the only decent Ferrari ever produced was the Testarossa. Everything else was crap...especially the 308 series.

I quote: "la macchina la più scarta che ha mai fatto la Ferrari".
Translation : "the biggest scrap ever produced by Ferrari."
