Question

Recently saw a car for sale on Ebay from a used sports car dealer in Southampton. Didnt really pay that much attention at the time but it keeps haunting me. The name of the dealer started with an A but I cant remember it. Did all kinds of Google searchs but I have come up with nothing. I know they have a web site. Anybody have an idea? Thanks.

 

Greg, maybe Alfaro Motors 35th Ave Inc, Riverhead? I could see a dealer in Riverhead saying they are from Southampton. Also, I think there is a place called All American. Good luck.

 

I can't remember the name, but the place is about a mile north of Montauk Highway on the east side on the same road that Gabreski Airport is on. I THINK it's called Riverhead road or something? I'm sure someone from out east will chime in. It's not quite Southampton though, so I might be wrong. I think it's Westhampton Beach.

If its by the airport, it the Lotus dealer, but he sells other cars too. I just past it last Sunday. Its the road that you take North from Montauk Hwy in West Hampton to the LIE. Its south of the Airport. I forget the name of the street.

Was looking at a 427 ERA Cobra they had on Ebay. I think they may still have it. It's still on the web site.

 

This past summer I was in one of those replicas with a 427. The car is so light, so the power to weight is off the charts. It was very fast and the sound was as loud as it gets. You could hear it 1/4 mile away! I liked it very much. Though...I felt very unsafe. More unsafe then the 328. There is no room for error in that car. But it was fun. On any Sunday there are many at Captree. More then any other car.
