At last the RAC have decided to apoligise for there cock up at Siverstone last week and to send me a cq for £432.63.

    Result me thinks.

Thankyou for all your offers of support,I think the turning point was when i told them about Steve F and his offer to write letters to them, they knew he would not stop going on about his his 12 cylininders.

    Thanks again

    Andy.

Are you planning to ditch your membership, and go over to the AA in light of their more accomodating attitude to trackdays?

    Well done Andy,

Now go for compensation on the wasted time spent at Silverstone. What time did you leave that night..I have never heard of a refusal to assist at a track before.

Managed to track down some OEM valves at last, at reasonable price, originally quoted 138.00+vat each and i need 16, got them for 71.00 each from Italy so it was worth looking,Thanks to Paul and Bernard for helping out.
Going to do the valve guides while its apart as well.

Car should be ready Mon,Tues Hopefully.

    Andy.
