The factory 4 point harnesses don’t just screw onto the firewall. There are specific reinforced mounting points that they bolt onto. However these mounting points do not exist on cars not specified with “4HAR” from factory. I’m not sure if the mounting plates are even available anymore, but these will need to be welded into place and to to do that safely; you’d (at the very least) need to drop the fuel tanks located directly behind for a start. Big job.

Not to mention you’d need to ensure whoever does the welding is skilled enough to align everything accurately the first time. Then you’ve got to source the interior trim panel piece with the cut outs etc.

Not sure if there’s an aftermarket solution these days, but simply screwing a set of harnesses onto the rear carpeted wall is just dangerous!

I could imagine anything oem would be 20 + years old and would not be in spec. I have seen 1 car make a custom rear harness bar but had aluminum plates welded in behind the seat and included a mount to the rear seat upper bolt. I skilled fab shop can do it that could welded aluminum.
