Reading Concours

Ok, I know, this is a sore subject among some of us.

But, just curious, who is going to the Reading Concours on Sunday, May 15 this year?

I will be there, FerrariChat.com hat on, Dino buffed to the max, awaiting the list from the judges of all the things that are wrong with my car.

Then I'll start 'er up, and everyone will oooh and aaah and, I'll WIN!!!

(I may have an empty seat, PM if interested. My significant other is not terribly interested in spending the day at Reading, inhaling rare Ferrari fumes.)

 

I was going to go. My wife and I went two years ago and had a blast. Though we had no Ferrari, a call to Pietro confirmed our enthusiast status, and he sent us paperwork. We paid the entry fee in advance, but apparently we technically didn't have to - the country club valets never requested any documents.

Anyway, this year, we were going to go again, but my wife is going to be using that weekend to take a motorcycle safety course to qualify for the license she needs to ride her Vespa. I gotta watch the kids in support of her endeavor. Kind of an Italian vehicle quid pro quo - miss the Ferrari show to learn the Vespa - behavior that's definitely worth encouraging.

 

I should be there. May be there with a friend and his ferrari (very rare ferrari)

I will be there with my 308QV and will be judging. I just hope we do not have to wait an hour to get on the field like last year - very poor planning. We really need to meet this time. We always attend the same events (Radnor, Simeone collection, etc) and have yet to meet. Since I will probably be judging the 246 Dino class, we should see each other.

Show up 15 minutes before 10. There's no crowd then, and still spaces left to stick your car in. If I sit for an hour, there would be coolant everywhere.
