A friend of mine took these pics with his phone and asked me if it was real. Well I'm not too great with the 365's(it is a 365 right?) so I couldn't really tell. Just wondering, thanks.

He put one of my business cards in the window seal because he said it had a ton of swirls so I would like to know if it is real if the owner does call.

Plus, did they ever come in an automatic? I just realized it wasn't a manual.

No automatics in that period (I think only the later 2+2's ever were offered with automatics). Here's a cockpit pic of a real 365 GTS/4 (Daytona Spyder) for comparison...

BTW, 365 GTS/4 (not the same as 365 GT4 2+2) would be the Vintage forum.

    Yin,

Technically, there were 6 365 2+2s with automatics made 'in period' however those are a completely different model and, you are correct that there were no auto Daytonas.

    Jason,

I think this is one of the fakes based on Corvette running gear similar to the cars used on Miami Vice.

    Regards,

    Art S.

    Looks like a McBurnie replica.

    The wheels were a giveaway.

    The interior is Chevy.

Replica based on an 84 or later corvette. Most of the Daytona replicas are based on 68-82 Corvettes. I don't know who, but obviously someone produced a kit for the C4 corvette...in small numbers though since I've only seen or heard of less than 5.

The windsheild on the C4 has more rake than the C3 andobviously the interior is different.
