So my wife and I might be moving to PHX sometime in the near-ish future. We currently live in Tucson and we used TARMLS.com to look for houses we wanted to see. Is there any website you guys could suggest to use for the PHX market?

    Thanks in advance...

    Kyle

Well, this is for North Scottsdale, not Phoenix, but it is a great site that puts a lot of information together. I use it quite a bit to get a feel for what is available.

I just used Zillow to check out some things...its not MLS, but its got lots of information (some of it even useful!).

Unsolicited advice worth what you paid for it ($0)...I wouldn't rush in and buy real estate anywhere, but even more so in PHX...

thanks for the info. We dont know if it is going to happen but we might as well start looking at what we could get. And yes any suggestions on locations would be nice. I like Scottsdale and so does she, so places like that would be nice.

I wasn't in the market for a home, but for my apartment, I used Zillow (mainly to find out what the surrondings were like and I used trulia.com to find places that were priced in my budget.

For my final site, I used Rent.com to find what I wanted and that is where I found my apartment plus I got a $100 back if I told my apartment manager that I used their site to find their complex. If I can offer a word of caution, rent.com and trulia are very annoying and I got lots of e-mails from them.

    Good luck! :)

Be happy to offer any help I can. I get back to Scottsdale next weekend and will be around thereafter. There are lots of nice areas to live in and (surprisingly) some very sketchy ones and not much mileage inbetween...feel free to PM me if you want to meet or chat about it.
