Red bag

My 430 came with car cover, seat covers and steering wheel cover....what does the 458 red bag come with?

 

Front license plate holder, battery charger, steering wheel cover, seat cover and car cover.

 

Dang...dealing with a ferrari dealer and he told me car cover only.....

 

Shocking.

Tools, pump and charger come with the car.....the red bag has only the cover nothing else....

 

My red bag has a spot to hold a charger in addition to the cover.

 

yup.. and mine had a front license plate holder and seat and steering wheel cover as well.

That was all in the red bag, the tools and air pump were in the bonnet, not the red bag.

 

My 2013 458 Spider in the bag was a car cover and a charger that is all. I had a 430 which came also with seat covers and a steering wheel cover. So anybody who says it came with seat covers is wrong. Unless the dealer threw them in but not from the factory

 

^^^ yup, my Speciale was just charger and car cover as well. I don't see the point in a steering wheel cover and seat cover. I would prefer to have the interior age uniformly.

 

2015 458 Italia just came with the charger and car cover too.

 

I wonder why the difference? I didn't order the steering wheel and seat cover that I'm aware of. I certainly didn't order the front license plate holder. Maybe its a dealer delivery thing?

 

Same for me when I got my 2012 spider. Get my Aperta later this month - assume that will come with the same.

 

Did u purchase the car new? If not the previous owned may not have included the steering wheel and seat cover when he consigned/sold the car...

 

I got the car cover, seat covers, and steering wheel cover along with the battery charger and front plate holder.

 

I've never even looked in my bag....

This is a 2012 spider...car has all docs including original window sticker, just want to make sure I'm getting everything that came with the car originally.

 

Maybe that's what the 50k in " extras" are on your window sticker. Lol

 

My 2003 360 came with charger, car cover, steering wheel cover and seat covers.

My 2014 458 spider came with charger and car cover.

 

I think they are giving you what the previous owner included when the dealer got the car. I've bought 7 Ferrari's and all of then have had car cover, seat covers, steering wheel covers and in later cars a charger - As long as you have the cover and the charger thats the most important items,

It's easy for the steering wheel and seat covers to be mislaid as they are probably rarely used.

 

Yes I purchased the car new. Possibly if you ordered Daytona seats you got the seat covers. 80% of the 458s got Race seats. Otherwise beats me. Dealer told me that Ferrari stopped including them with the car. Since I had a 430 that came with the seat and steering wheel covers.

 

Well I'm beaten as well then Who knows, maybe the random nature of the Ferrari Gods at Maranello

 

my 458 has Daytona seats and no seat covers , so Arnie could be correct, no need for the covers, will not be digging the garden and jumping into the Daytona seats

 

LOL, theres possibly space for a shovel behind the seats in lieu of a golf bag
