Relationship Help

Ok, don't normally ask for help, but rather lookin to see what others would do in this sitaution:

You meet someone new, that you totally like, really enjoy hangin out with, and are into the same things and totally drop dead beautiful.

You go out with them two or three times and totally hit it off.

Now the catch: She leaves in two weeks to go to California and I live in North Carolina. No way to change that.

Do you approach her and talk about long distance relationships or do you throw it out the door, sock it up as a fling and move on?

How long you have known her and whether you think there is more to the relationship than a casual fling.

Long distance relationships require a lot of work and compromise on both parties.

 

just do booty calls, ita alot easier and imho, long distant relationships are basically same thing. besides while your in carolina and she is in ca, do you really think for a second she wont be hooking up with any other dudes, no disrespect intended ! just a reality check. just my .02

 

Do what she's doing, treat it like a fling. She's moving, what does she care the last couple weeks she's here? If she calls you from California, keeps in touch and you don't mind talking with her, then you have a booty call if you come to visit.

 

Maybe LAfun2 can look after her for you while she is in Cali.

 

Do you really hit it off or is the fact that she's leaving and it's that "hard to get" factor coming into play? Anytime this kind of thing happened to me the thing that made it so great is that you could be yourself knowing it probably wouldn't go anywhere. Just play it cool and tell her you'd like to stay in touch. If it's meant to be then somehow things will work out. Meanwhile two words, get some "back up."

 

If she's going to CA that might be your answer right there. Has she brought it up? 'cause if she hasn't, it probably isn't likely. But, that said, keep it light and keep in contact. You never know.

You got to test drive an Enzo, now you are going to sit back and make a decision whether the Enzo is worth going after. Sure it seems like the best thing out there, but have you looked at all other options?

Tried to discuss the issue over the phone, but got shut down as she said, let me think about it and we will discuss it tomorrow because i am tired and going to sleep.

People are always attracted to things they cant have. If she was staying in your town and was keen, you'd probably not have a bar of her, but because she is moving away and you're not likely to ever see her again, she's suddenly the wholy grail.

She might also be a lot more chilled and pleasant to be with at the moment as she is about to leave behind her troubles.

Simple answer is ask her if she wants anything more, but dont be surpirsed if you get a custard pie.
