Beautiful ride... Blu Chiaro most definitely suits these cars well, but then again, I'm biased!

Very nice - I see you've got Pirelli's on. What wheels are those?

I put Series 1 wheels on it a while back. My TRX's are where they belong; up in the loft of the barn.

Thanks - Didn't realise the Series 1 would take anything other than the TRX's

A Series 1 car would have had 15" wheels installed from the factory. TRX's were on S2 cars. Trying to find S1 wheels is getting pretty tough now.

I think yours is a little darker Mitch. Look in the trunk and see it you have a paint sticker that lists the color name.

Thought a series 1 car had the recessed fogs with full length grill and toggle switch inside. Series 2 had the cibie exposed fogs with rotary knobs on the console.

 Series 1 had mechanical controls, silver hood vent, no load leveler, etc, etc, and 15" wheels.

Are the Series 1 wheels 15 or 16"? I went to the 16" Superformance option and matched the rolling diameter perfect with a not so common tire size. What is exact size of your Pirellis? They look great.

Dave, the photos of your 400 are great, it's a really lovely looking car.

I'm wincing as I write this coz it's bound to upset someone (hopefully not you) but the photo with the 400 in the distance was ruined by the 456 in the front.

I really don't like the look of that model from any angle.

On a brighter note, here's a photo of my 400 next to a diner lit by neon lights. Also a series 1 car on Pirelli P4000's.

and here's my favourite shot (so far) of my 365

Yeah yeah, I know the rear panel hadn't been painted black yet but I kinda like it body colour.

Factory series 1 wheels are 15". Now having said that, the hot set up is 16" wheels to replace the TRX's. You'll get better tire options. You'll need some spacers but they've been talked about here.

While not factory correct, I have to admit I like the body color panel better than the black on the 365 & series 1 400's. I say leave it if you like it, be honest when judged at shows, disclose it if you sell it, and let the next guy deal with it.

Unfortunately the 4000s are nla. Not sure there are any high speed rated tires left in 15". I also left my rear panel body color.

The next guy to deal with it will be my son Adam after I've gone to meet my maker coz I've got zero intention of ever selling either car.

Hopefully by that time the 365 will be worth £1,000,000,000,000.00 so he'll forgive me for not having the back panel painted !

There are three high speed rated 15" tires still available:

    Vredestein Sprint Classic 215/70 VR 15 98 W

    Michelin XWX 215/70VR15

    Avon CR6ZZ 215/70VR15

We are supposed to use "Z" rated, not "V" rated. But the XWX's will likely be my next set regardless. I mean who REALLY drives these cars over 150mph any more?
