Anyone had their rims re-done here in the Chicago area Mine have a bunch of chips... thinking about having them redone. Need name and number of places!
Spike. I saw a place out in,I believe,the East side of Naperville,On Ogden Av. by RT.59 . It is called "Chicago Wheel Refinishers",or something like that . I was going to have them do some Rims on one of the Corvettes that I had,but ended up selling the car. But,I know that a few of the Dealers around here use them. I will try to find out the scoop on them and let you know. I also have a few nicks around the center of my Spare Wheel,for my 308,that I'd like to see if they can fix. And,BTW,I have decided to keep my Ferrari Rims on my Ferrari Car. I may get the 16" Ferrari Rims. But,I will not vary from anything but Ferrari rims. I'll tell you why....... I saw some really cool wheels that I liked,in one ad in Road & Track. I was all ready to get them,until I saw some... JUST LIKE THEM....On a Green,Chrysler MINI-VAN!!!!! in my Neighborhood! ARRRGGGHHH!!! Then,again,saw similar wheels on some,uh-hummm, "Tuned out", (and believe me. THAT is Stretching it!!!) Ford Probe. And,it really got me mad,because I really liked those wheels. But,I cannot put them on after seeing the same ones on a,gulp,Mini-Van!!! So,I figure,no other Car,except another Ferrari,will have FERRARI WHEELS!!!... I can comfortably bet that I won't be seeing any Ferrari Rims on a Mini-Van... So,I'm leaving it the way it left the Factory....
I don't know Frank.... My wife has been eyeing my rims for her SMOKIN' '03 Grand Caravan.... Maybe slap a few shields on the front quarter panels....
