Hi everyone. I have a 1989 Mondial cabriolet. I was closing the roof last week and my driver side latch broke. I have checked the internet and could not find anyone that has these latches.

Does any one know where I can purchase these? If there is a place in Toronto, Canada that would be prefered, if not any place will do

    Thank you

Part 17, right? Trust me, you probably don't want to know the price... it's around $400. p/n 61758500. But the nice thing is, it includes the strap too. Drop me an email at [email protected] if you're interested (and still breathing)

Is that the same latch used on the Alfa Spider?

Have you tried the owners site? I had a latch break for the top on my 328, and the local dealer wanted $400+ for it. I bought it from the owners site for less than $200.

Plz do a search. There was someone a while ago who had the latch remanufactured by himself in a very clever way ..

I had a broken latch and took it to a local machine shop.
They made a new identical midddle section out of stainless steel, and made a spare too all for £ 85.00.Real good job. Try looking around loaclly, you never know.

Just bought a mondial roof latch from ferrari.uk (aka the owner's site) for a local owner who knew I was placing an order. With shipping it came to ~$420!

Think import duty was about $9 because it contained 'rubber or plactic'(sigh).

So the repair route is definitely worth pursuing.

    Designed and produced a replacement.
I installed it in my car and it is great.
If there is enough interest, I will make more......
