Just curious has anyone ever taken on a salvaged Ferrari as a project car! I'm sure it's 2 good to be true but it looks a though one can pick up a damaged car, collision, flood, theft ect relatively cheap! I'm sure it would kill the value but for a track car it might make sense. I do this with bikes for the track, but is there a large aftermarket supply of fiberglass body parts for the 360? Just fishing to see if I might want to take on a short term project and make a 360 gt.

If you search for the word "copart" you will find a thread for a salvage auction site where guys are re-building recent exotics.

Hope your pockets are deep. If you got one for free you still might be underwater.

there are many in the vintage section that have taken a salvage car and brought it back to glory.

i wonder what is the newest vintage car that will some day be in salvage condition and not be dinged in value even if after a proper restoration?

let's face it, a restored basket/salvage case dino or daytona seems to bring full value after being properly finished. will a boxer or an f-40 ever be treated similarly? what about a salvage enzo?
