Anyone else see the report that the new Midland F1 team might take Saubers' place as the only other Ferrari-engined cars to run? Seems highly unlikely to me; given the very 'unsubstantial' nature of the Midland effort......although maybe Peter Saubers' lack of support for Ferrari on the testing issue hints at changes to come........?

    Opinions?

Peter Sauber certainly let Todt down with voting against him in re: to the testing issue, but I don't think that created a rift big enough. If anything Ferrari is eager to see how "their" car does on Michelin and based on this week's times the blue Ferrari flies on French rubber.

I forgot what the engine deal was, but I think it was not unlimited and could be renegotiated annually. There is no guarantee that Saubers will always run with Ferrari engines. Having said that, I would agree as well, that Sauber right now look at lot stronger than any Midland deal. But that situation might be different in a year from now.
