Does anyone have this or other pics (high-res if possible) of the Countach modified by Franco Sbarro in Switzerland? This one is from a well-known poster back in the 80s. For me this is the almost-perfect Countach. It would have been perfect if it had white rearview mirrors. I wonder where it is now and who onws it. Does anyone have any info on it? Also please let me know if someone has that poster for sale :)

First time I hear of it - seems very 'timid' for a Sbarro job ;)

Yeah, actually it's just a regular Countach with a bodykit for the sides. The Countach doesn't need too much really...

What/Who is Sbarro, I clicked on this thinking it was another "Pizza Delivery car" because of Sbarro Pizza.

They actually did never one, Max Bobnar had a LP400s and LP5000s with Biturbo, then there was also a 25th with quad-Turbo but this car burnt down because the house it was stored in burnt to the ground.

The poster was from Verkerke and actually this car was from Switzerland, it is still, it's either #1121114 or more likely #1121198 (supercharged).
I have to search this poster since I want to put it into my garage as well.

was the air intake of this QV effective ram air to the carbs? or only a "different" engine cover?

Man, people should just leave these cars alone....all these add-ons look like junk.
Of course that's just my opinion and I guess different opinions help make the world go
around but I just had to say it... As for the poster, I saw it on Ebay about a month
ago...hopefully another will come up and you'll catch it.

The engine bay looks horrible and the scope in the engine hood is without function, fake tuning at it's best...

I prefer installing my ignition boxes which bring 10bhp more and better drivability!

That engine looks like it could use some TLC.

The hood scoop looks goofy. If it was functional I'd give him a pass but as a non-functioning decoration WHY?

    Good point!

It's not like there's excess visibility out that little window.
