I'm a freshman and I have a class worth half a credit called Oral Communications. Basically, all you do is make speeches and talk in front of people. Everybody in school already knows me as the Ferrari guy so I figured why not do something along those lines that I love, so my topic for the "informative speech" is an F1 car. I'm covering the engine, suspension, aerodynamics, and brakes. I have pictures since we need visual aids, good pictures too. Now, obviously I know a thing or two about the car or I wouldn't do it. I'm thinking the car from 2002-2007. I was hoping that people could give me extra information that I could include in my speech...it needs to be five minutes long at least. So, thats my situation....

Getting a lot of pretty pictures. Showing them all works out well and kills time efficiently. Definitely focus on the technologies that these cars have and what makes them far superior to today's car, cool facts like an F1 car can do 0-120 in less than 4 seconds while a Ferrari Enzo can "only" get to 100 in 6.6.

I did a similar project when I was in college. Speaking from experience, I'd suggest you call up your "local" dealership and see if you can sit down with their Marketing Director or Events Coordinator for an interview. Also, if available, see if you can also get some face time with their shop manager.

If all else fails, you can always just call M Schumacher to be a guest speaker. ;)

I had to do a presentation like that Freshman year of College but mine was a 25 minutes so I did a Breif history of Ferrari as a whole.
Use alot of "fun facts" to keep people interested, another thing to kind of "dumb it down" for non car people would be keep on comparing it to a well known car like a honda acord or taurus etc. etc. Make sure you dont get too detailied cause then it gets boring.
Other than that make sure your passion for the brand shows through and you will surely get an A
