Hello Ferrari Friends, I've been trying to search for a good link to order some shields for my F355 but they all seem to be pre-2018.. Anyone have experience from the fab speed ones? or just go eBay? Any other thoughts? Thx!

I bought some from eBay for £45, explicitly described as being cloisonné coated. They're of excellent quality. Look for that word in the description and, if they're cheap enough, they're worth a punt vs the items sold by Super Tweaks.

I am conflicted about fender badges. I think they actually look good on a 355, design-wise. But my car didn't come with them and I think the sticker-type are a little poseurish. Not sure what to do.

If someone is going to slap-on some fender shields, might as well class-it-up all the way with some fender vents.
It's a shame that we lost the plethora of high-performance parts Pep Boys offered, but I'm sure these can still be found at AutoZone, J.C. Whitney, Walmart, and more:

This horsepower monster is even sporting "speed holes", so woe be unto anyone who challenges him:

Beauty is in the eye of the owner. But since you're musing, I wouldn't do it. The 355 doesn't need fender badges to look fast or elegant - it surely doesn't need aftermarket badges that will never look OEM.

Only a gel head would retroactively install shields on their car.

There are already plenty of Ferrari signs on the car from stock.
    No need to add more.
I’m glad mine came without shields: looks so much better

Just for my edification- What is a "gel head"?

I'm absolutely no expert by any means- But I believe the factory <inset> shields were only an option on later model 355s and the Fiorano edition- its your <OPs> car so do what makes you happy- I've seen lots of 355s with aftermarket shields- Some look great <Yoshi> some are an atrocity- Personally, I don't stick anything on my cars that was not factory- Except a license plate frame- But each to his/her own

They are amazing, the F355 needs shields but not cheap plastic shields.

Owners can do whatever they like of course. Turbo stickers, gold Type R insignia, spinners, flames, join stance nation - all good. It helps distinguish between cars that are worth the full price and the other ones.

True. And yet we do see a fair number of BAT cars that come with all sorts of cosmetic 'improvements' that do sell for less than their more OEM counterparts. There's a tipping point. The shields come off with a hair dryer so no big deal one way or the other.

While ordering my '99 355F Fiorano in '98 I attempted to delete the shields. Ferrari would not accept that stipulation. I was informed shields were a mandatory option. I've gotten used to them over the years.

I forgot to add the sarcasm tags :D

(I love my painted side skirts and roof panel, 360 wheels, and... Porsche front calipers)
