I owned a Scuderia and sold it...and would get another one. Unique wonderful car. However, I wont get another one until I am 90% confident that the Scuderia won't continue to slide in value.

(I DO enjoy my 2010 GT3RS.2 as much if not more...and it is increasing in value.)

Let me start out by saying that I detest depreciation on toys. I can't stand the idea that I am sticking lots of money into a car that I will rarely drive that will lose value. I have a small car collection...I seek out cars that I love and cars that will increase in value. Makes the 'hobby/ obsession' I have financial palatable.

Its great to hear that many of you are long term owners. That will start to put a real floor on the pricing. The Scuderias do seem to be holding value (more or less). What may happen is that as the 458s (finally) start to drop in value in a meaningful way as the 458 replacement take hold in peoples mind there will be another drop in Scuderia values. I suspect that they will be worth the same as 360 CS. $130-$170 regardless if its a 09 or 09.

    Why?

Because they are both now 'old tech' true enthusiast cars. Both are desirable in their own ways. If someone wants the latest and greatest they won't consider a Scuderia.

Once the cars are truly leveled off in terms if depreciation then I will buy. MAYBE the Scuderias will actually start to appreciate. They will probably never be collectible. For that to happen they would have to appreciate over $100k from current values to be worth in excess of their original prices.

Pretty quick turnover on some of those....most of those I can understand, but the CS for 6 mos? Curious why that was a short ownership?
Also, no love for the Gallardo? - I've thought about lambo's but never took the plunge.
Good to see the Scud has treated you well. I've had mine for just shy of a year, and can't think of selling it for quite some time....only problem is that I keep racking up miles on mine :)

The scud is super raw. You hear all the pebbles hitting the wheel wells and undercarriage. The exhaust note is just awesome. The amount of carbon fiber is insane! Most of these cars are rarely driven and driven short distances. I want a rush every time I drive and the scud does that. I have had a 458 and a 458 spider(both gone) but I still have my scud!!

I,am trying to say everyone seem they could get a scud for a cheap price, the scud took a big hit when the 458 came out , it all about supple and demand now

Wanna bet? Many 3.8 RS cars are selling close to original MSRP, with the 4.0 selling above MSRP. Scud prices are nowhere close to original MSRP.

Yeah it's true, the four points seatbelts are very uncomfortable for me on the "street use"

About to hit 40,000kms on my Scuderia. Now at 39,745kms. Cant think of parting it. Lets be honest. What better car can you buy for the same money?? Just cant justify that.

Is it me or is this color really rare?

I remember seeing a scud test mule in this color in Maranello and loved it ever since.

Pictures don't do justice for it.

Avio metallico, pretty rare although was one of the 2 launch colors for the Scud.

Friend of mine took a pic of my Father's Scud this weekend from my 430 Spider.

Certainly a sensational car and IMO one hell of a picture too!
