I am trying to document serial numbers and body numbers of Sebring 2's.
Body numbers are stamped in the chrome trim pieces. Easy ones to check are the door panel trim sorround pieces.
    Here are the body numbers for 3 cars;
    ser. 137 body 80
    ser. 449 body 175
    ser. 529 body 190

    Rick,
thanks for the info. Unfortunately not many owners care about the body their car(s) have!

    Ciao!

Magnus, when you don`t know the body-no, I assume you know the VIN. Why don`t you disclose it here?
(btw., I see this car as a Series I. The S II-cars had the round chrome ring about both headlamps and the upper air-outlets in the front fenders!)

    Ciao!
    Walter

    Hello Magnus
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply.
Body numbers are interesting to me as they have a currious relationship to the serial numbers.
You have to remove a piece of trim to find the number stamped on the backside.

I have found a plate with the body number stamp attached to the horizontal surface between the hood hinges.
Easy to see without taking anything apart.

    Hi Maserich,

Here another number for your collection.

The bodynumber on my Sebring 2 (069) is 114.

Here are some serial - body numbers.
    .069 - #114
    .131 - # 70
    .171 - # 93
    .407 - #154
    .449 - #175
    .529 - #190
    .541 - #181
    Anybody have any more?
Anybody know what the last serial number is?
The easiest place to find the body number is a small plate on the horizontal shelf between the hood hinge bolts.

    Hello Rich,

I noticed that I gave you the wrong chassisnumber of my car. It NOT ending with 069 but with 269, so it is AM101S10269! Sorry.
    The bodynumber is indeed 114.

Here a picture of my Sebring of today when I was at the Dutch authorities to get a registration.

    That sequence makes more sense.
    Your car looks great!
    Nice in black.
    Mine also has disc wheels.
