    Oooops.

Obviously your car may have sustained a lot of damage but would you say that your experience has given you confidence in your car had the accident been more severe?
I ask because I am always aware that I am driving around in a 30 year old design, a time when safety matters were not a prime concern for car manufacturers. I try & reassure myself that they are built like the proverbial brick shi-ite house but are they?

Hmm, don't know what happened with the duplicate post..
It wasn't actually that bad - cracked the bumper and needed some paint. T'was a good job - car was at Joe Macari's for the work.

Andy, quick answer. No. Car design regarding safety is on a different planet today compared to 30 years ago. If you have a serious accident in your 70's 308 with a modern euro box....well, don't basically.
