The 355 is at Aston Martin of Tysons Corner. They sort of had their way with me on trade-in, but it's due for a belt change service, and needs some TLC on the front paint (track rash), and some other spots that have cracked (usual spots....around butresses). Overall though, I'm happy with the trade.

Sweet. Got a good tour of the AMV8 at the DC Auto Show last year from the A-M Tysons guys. Love that car! Are you coming out to the Spring Thaw in Reston Town Center next Sunday?

How does the Aston Compare? That car looks like it has a really short wheelbase.

Nice, but it's got to be hard to go out to the garage and not see that big prancing horse and four round taillights. :(

I bought an AM V8 Vantage and frankly you won't miss any other car in the garage that went away.

My 355 spider just got picked up yesterday on its way to Pompano Beach and a beautiful Bentley GT will be taking its place by the weekend. Love the color on your Vantage, congrats!!!

Your Vantage is excellent! A little luxury in place of the raw power :) The F355 looks cool too.

The Vantage actually has a fairly long wheelbase with very short overhangs front and rear. Drives very nicely. Very neutral, but then I haven't had it on the track yet to see how it really compares to the 355 which was a fantastic track car. I must admit that I like the "luxury" interior of the Aston vs the Ferrari. Much better leather and much better fit and finish. I don't think I'll be seeing the leather shrinkage like in the 355. Nor the sticky plastic coatings on the switches, etc. And the exhaust note is very nice....sounds almost as good as an F430. 0-60 in 4.7, so within 10's of a second of the 355. Top end is only 175 vs 183 in the 355, but then I never took the 355 over about 140 on the track so who really cares. The brakes are amazing....even better than on the 355 which had great brakes. The rake of the windshield takes some getting used to as the dashboard seem to go on forever. Nice seats. Nice switchgear. GREAT stereo! Which you can actually enjoy. Damn, I must be getting old or something.....

Anyway, here's another couple of pictures for you....in the wet.

Stereo is a good thing :) And now you can hear it, because of the lower engine sound. If ill own something luxury like an Aston or a Bentley, i wont go faster than 80-90 km/h :) These cars are born to cruisin'

My favourite parts on the car are the small windows, and the front-rear lamps.
