I want to replace the shocks on my 86 328. Does anybody have any recommendations on whats good/not good. I may track my car a few times a year, but mostly for street use.

    thanks,

Do a search for suspension, QA1, or shocks. You will find more reading than you care to do.

    Have fun,

I have Varishocks on my 308. Very nice, not too expensive.

Guess i am in the minority. i think the same ones for the 308 work for the 328. If so, for the 308 here i went with Fchat sponsor Nick Forza as seen at http://www.nicksforzaferrari.com/forzaferrariwebsite1_005.htm . For street driving the stock setup is good. If you car is a track rat, i have been sending info to Nick. Basically for track you want Hyperco 400 lbs front, 350 lbs rear, shorter springs, and your need Hyperco Zero Rate Helper springs and the Spring Divider on all four corners.

Just came back from a track day today and this setup BLOWS AWAY the Nick's stock, but i am talking HARD track use (plus upgraded sway bars, new drop links and split links).
