when i was growing up in philadelphia, we would do the same thing except we would throw our old sneakers over the telephone lines. thats when i use to wear chuck taylors all stars canvas sneaks [ high tops ], ahhhhh yes, the good ol days.
Quick business idea... Bring ladder from home, reclaim all of the pairs of shoes (or bras), sell on ebay or in a garage sale. Should be enough money to cover a few months worth of payments on a 328
