Yeah. yeah...I know...progress, and going green and all that sh*t. I haven't watched a race this year beyond the first; Ferrari sucks and the cars sound worse than a rice rocket. But...once upon a time...

Yes a fantastic sounding era:) We all love the screaming engines, and miss them.
However, your missing a cracking season mate:( I cant beleve a true F1 fan would only watch one race in a season just because the cars sound quieter, thats very sad for both you and the sport.

You are somewhat correct; I become disinterested when Ferrari is grossly uncompetitive. When Ferrari is "in the mix", then I'm actually quite astute and "into it." This, year, with the Sh*t cars and Ferrari being even sh*ttier, well...

p.s....I should note that I've only watched one FULL race; I did "check in" on a couple of others...until it became obvious that Ferrari would, once again, suck.

Yeah, practice is truly uninspiring. Therefore, I've deleted my "record practice" function. Quali is still very exciting for me - - - and the race can and has delivered some very interesting team/position/points battles.

The sound of today's cars makes Bernie, me, and most of you - - want to ............. [email protected] ......... made that up:)

Ah well, If that's our worst problem, we personally, are obviously physically and emotionally, pretty damn healthy. I do wish Ferrari were feeling chipper, as well.

    Cheers, Hank

Why? That's the only time Ferrari fans have any fun. Sometimes in FP-1 or FP-1 Alonso will be at or near the the top of the timing sheets. We Ferrari fans (after plenty of strong drink) will say to ourselves, "Wow, I guess those new aero bits really are working well".

Of course, reality soon sets in and Ferrari struggles to even get into Q-3. The races are even more disappointing as Ferrari once again demonstrates that they have a mid pack car made slightly better by Alonso's driving skill.

I'm still watching the races, but I'm giving serious consideration to watching FP-1 only.

Although I love Ferrari I realize that F1 does not revolve around Ferrari and I like a few other teams, always have. I have always had a 50/50 outlook because I also follow certain drivers whom I like although this was much more prevalent 30yrs ago.

You are not alone in your dismay though as many others feel like you do.

Okay, that's a different way of looking at it. However, when Ferrari didn't make it out of Q1 last time, I was kind of sorry I watched qualifying too.

Don't get me wrong, the races have been better than I anticipated, but this year is among my least favorites in quite a while.

    Cheers,

    George

Cracking season? It's a boring season dominated by vacuum cleaner sounding mercs.
