My windsheild says "SIGLA", then below PILKINGTON made in england. Is this a replacement? What does an origianal say? All my other glass says St. Cobain

My two 88.5 cars both have full SIGLA glass in them. No Pilkington in sight.

    BUT...........

Red car has chassis number etched into glass as do all other windows in the car. Blue car has no number in windscreen, but al other windows are numbered. This tells me that the screen was probably replaced at some time.

The top of the screen has no tinted band, but has the dotted screen strip like factory, just no chassis number. This confirms that it was replaced with factory glass, hence no numbers.

sigla = pilkington (sigla was used when cars were new)
I have two new ones (for replacement) with only Pilkington sign.
