    Fellow Ferraristas,

I am attempting to siphon my 550 and having difficulty snaking my siphon past the nipple in the tank (where it connects to the flex hose). I have siphoned vehicles overseas before, and have a little experience with this, but this tank seems a bit different. Anyone have experience with this? The idea of pulling the drain plug seems difficult to manage, as there is probably a good 15 gallons of lovely ethanol-laced juice in the tank right now...

    Thanks in advance!
    Chris

If the pumps work you can attach a hose to the fuel rail and pump all but about 4 gallons out, that's about all you can get out by siphoning.

Lube hose. Twist as you go. Hose likely has an arch to it. Twisting will change the angle it’s you push.

Thanks, guys, will try a stiffer hose first. I have been twisting the one I am using, but it collapses when deep. I would hate to hush the fuel through the system, as I suspect a bit of ethanol sludging...

    Thanks again for the ideas!

Other thing to do is fill up and drive it empty.
